Just Back Off, Ted

I wanted to try my hand at drawing something I'm not used to drawing, which is two (or three) things.

One, boy love; I rarely draw this and don't usually lean towards it unless it's part of the actual series' canon. (Antique Bakery by Fumi Yoshinaga is the first yaoi manga I liked but never continued following.) And since Persona 3 and 4 leave it up to you on who goes with who, it's not that hard for me to see TeddiexKanji since it's just as plausable as ChiexSouji. :3

Two, Kanji-like characters; it's actually hard for me to draw a character who has the basic body shape of a typical attractive manga boy but the face of a tough guy. I think what stressed me out so much was trying to recreate a large nose for him along with trying to get his hair right. So, I decided to sort of give up on the nose and hair, so long as they resembled the originals.

Three, Teddie's hair; oh my god, why did I choose that angle for his hair?? WRY. D:

Aside from that, I drew this with the 'pseudo-drunk' game scene that happened in Persona 4. I found it hilarious to watch Kanji being attacked by lil' Teddie no matter what choice you picked. So, imagine this as a sort of continuation after Kanji got glomped, only with Kanji in slight more control and Teddie not so rampant. XD
